Anita Barone

Barone appears as a character in The Shoes, an episode of Seinfeld that aired in the season four. Barone plays Gail Cunningham as a restaurant owner who needs Elaine Benes' shoes. Barone was a cast member on Carol & Company, starring with Carol Burnett in the early 90s. Barone also played Carol Willick Ross Geller's ex-wife on her first appearance on Friends. Her departure from the show was because she was looking for an additional full-time job. She was taken over by Jane Sibbett. Barone was a guest on The Jeff Foxworthy Show in the very first season (from 1995-1996) Then she appeared on The War at Home between 2005 between 2005 and 2007. Barone co-starred with Daddio in 2000. Barone is also credited in television shows, such as Desperate Houswives Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. In 2004 Barone was the recipient of the 2005 Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award for her work in one of the feature films One Last Ride. Barone's recurring role on Shake It Up Disney Channel show Shake It Up began in 2010, just three years after The War at Home finished the show's run. She was the character Georgia Jones, the mother of Bella Thorne's CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones who was the husband of the character Barone played in two episodes.
